I don't know if you guys knew this or not, but there's a musical episode coming up. They almost all have a song to sing. Yes, really. Like Buffy.
The woman who plays Callie, who's name I forget, did do "Spamalot" but I don't think I like the idea. If they want her, or a couple others, to sing again at like a karaoke bar or something that'd be fine. "Musical" just seems too fantastical and fantastical stuff (Denny's ghost, even if it did just turn into a tumor hallucination, and Meredith's Surgery/Purgatory) is part of why I quit the show for awhile.
Which might seem odd as I like many fantastical shows, but I guess I want to know going in that's what I'm watching. If we're starting the ground running with ghosts and alternate realities and all it's fine. If we're starting with a medical drama and then it's singing/dancing or werewolfs or alien invasions or something not so much fine. House kind of got on my nerves with that tonight, although the end of the ep was good.
So, what do you think about the car accident?
Is next week the "musical" episode?
That was so poorly executed, I saw it coming a mile away. And I'm sorry, but Callie isn't so stupid as to take off her seatbelt and then not put it back on. The writing of that scene was an insult to the viewers.
That being said, I hope Callie and the baby survive and that she dumps that selfish pig, Arizona and that she and Mark, who is genuinely happy about this baby, get together. I can't stand Arizona.
IDK, from the previews, Callie was DOA and her spirit was up above everyone. I don't think she'll stay dead though, according to the tv guide. That out of body experience firms up her belief in her and Arizona.
