When I lived in the Pacific time zone, I'd sometimes find I couldn't wait to find out who won, especially something down to the wire like American Idol, so I'd go online to get the spoilers. Sometimes, I'd also check out cliffhangers. I know, such cheating!
Now, I'm in Central time () and have to get the results the old fashioned way, by watching the shows.
So, my former fellow West Coasters, do you wait til the very end and watch the whole episode or can you not take the suspense and get on line to find out as soon as you can?
I live on the west coast and I go online for results from American Idol. It's easier that way so I don't have to suffer through those ex-idols promoting themselves, and Jimmy's commentary which takes too long. Not to mention those corny ford music videos. Spending a few minuets online can save me an hour of torture.
Both, sometimes I don't want to cheat but and like to watch not knowing I did that with Dancing with the Stars and was thrilled it was Donald Driver. With Idol I came on Board here and found out. My pick was Joshua so I did not care so much figured it would be Phillip. I enjoyed the show and like them both but still feel Joshua is the best of the three. What is great about the West is we can choose to cheat or not.
I only watch DWTS. I record it on the dvr and thus can bypass commericals and the rehersal tidbits and babbling brooke. But I'll wait for the show. On the west coast it was annoying that I had to carefully not run stuff like Yahoo's blurb and just waited til the show was over to go online.
Four years in a few months since my leaving Socal, and I still can't get used to tv shows being on at seven.
