Default Mob Wives- Chicago

The series premiere was last night. Did anyone see it and can you fill me in? My 2 baby gr.daughters were throwing fits and I missed seeing most of it.
I was not impressed with the wives "attire", they seemed like a bad version from Goodfellas. Almost like they were "wannabees".
Staten Is. mob wives know how to put on a show.

I was cleaning the kitchen and when it came on. I promised myself "No more of these types of shows, needless to say I watched it.

I don't have the names down yet, one of them "Curly" she is probably the stereotypical Italian mob wife...I guess she would be akin to Renee on Mob Wives, ballsy etc. She still lives at home with her dad. If she gets married, her husband better know her dad comes with them.

The "Blonde One" has two daughters and works two jobs while her husband is in jail, I guess she is the Drita of Chicago.

Pia, I think that's her name, works the pole (exotic dancer) to support herself and her daughter. Pole dancer's father was a crooked cop, who ratted and is now witness protection.

The 'blonde one' thinks 'pole dancer' is a "*****" and wants nothing to with her.

Exotic dancer and the blonde have a mutual friend in Nora, who is trying to find where her father is buried after he died in prison. Supposedly the Feds took his body before the family could claim it. Nora is trying to find out where his rest place is. Curly thinks Nora is crazy.

Nora also goes ballistic if you talk about her dad and his occupation.

Nora might also be a bit two-faced in her friendship with the pole dancer (talking behind her back)

Finally there is another Chi mob wife (Christine, I think). She and her husband are divorced but they still live in the same house. Chrstine hasn't told her parents she is divorced yet. (I guess they know by now...lol)

Christine and pole dancer got into a fight at the club when the ladies got together for a ladies night. I think they were both a little drunk.

Sorry I don't have the names connected to the faces yet. But that is a bare bones synopsis of the introduction to the Chi Mob Wives...not sure if I'll continue watching or not.

Right after the Mob Wives reunion part 2 they showed a sneak peak of Chi Mob Wives. It was a surprise and a happy as the show was indeed advertised to start in June. Not sure if there will be a repeat of this episode next week or a new episode.

Thanks NYPeach. Yes it was an hour long episode. Hope there is a rerun. Sounds like another "am I really gonna watch this" show.

For some reason, the song that they sing while playing Limbo comes to mind.

gotcha... thanks for the info.

My DVR was only telling me the premiere date... so I guess I'll have to catch up then. I can never catch a show from the start...

I am curious... how old is the pole dancer wife?

I watched it. Not sure if I will watch it again. They just don't have the same pizazz as the NY Mob Wives. And talk about annoying accents! I find the Chicago mob wives accent REALLY annoying!
