Well, but that is not the premise of the show. And that is not what he is telling the women or himself. He says that he is looking for someone to share his life with.

Who would want to share their life with someone as vapid, mean, and immature as Courtney? I don't care how good she looks; that would get old FAST.

Not that I believe any part of this show is unscripted. Not any more.

I think you misunderstood that particular part of my post... Just because someone isn't looking for the "mother of his children" doesn't mean he's not looking for a long term love. And looking for a good time doesn't automatically mean a short term relationship.

I do believe that Ben is looking for a long term relationship. Absolutely! And that is the premise of the show.

But is he actually, really and truly thinking about kids? Does he sit across the couch from any of the women, and think, "she'd be questionable as a mother?" I'm not so sure about that part...

He's what 28? 29? He's probably not thinking about kids, without a wife wanting them most men are content to put that off until their thirties. I think he probably wants someone he can have fun with, a partner in adventures, but also a committed girlfriend.

We really have to remember that he doesn't see the real Courtney the way we do, he sees a sweet, flirty, sexy girl who is totally into him. When she is with him she acts like he is her dream guy, and she wants nothing more than to be with him. He doesn't get to see the footage of her being awful.

True he doesn't see what we see....but he is seeing it now when he watches it. I would feel like an idiot if I was her, knowing that he can see what a hateful person she is. Of course if he didn't pick her, then I am sure he is glad. If he did pick her, he may drop her flat

Her mamma and poppa scared him away. Didn't see that one coming, but it makes sense if the one he wants wasn't her. He was just listening to her Dad.

I don't know who he will pick but I think that he will give Courtney the final rose. The reason that I think he will chose her is because he is delusional about who he is, as well. Ben thinks that he is like a mini wine mogul and he views Courtney as a "trophy" that will complete the package.

If the cameras were not rolling, Courtney wouldn't even give a guy like Ben the time of day. I don't think he gets that; in his mind, this is his one chance to "get the girl" so to speak. But Courtney has made the rounds in LA for a while and a guy like Ben (not uber rich or uber well-connected) wouldn't even be on her radar. And she basically told him that in so many words in the previous episode when she went on-and-on about how she wouldn't even be friends with people like the other girls (Ben didn't get it that she also meant people like him, too)

This show is just making me sick. One more week. Only three women left to pick from and Courtney is still high on the list. If Ben picks this nasty immature woman than he deserves what he gets. She can pick him clean and than divorce him and I will do no more than say "you should have known better. It just makes me ill when I think he sent Emily and a lot of girls home who I actually think cared about him. Some people can't see the truth even when it is shining right in their eye.

Of course, the possibility is that Ben is a really a ******* himself and we are only seeing a "good guy" image he constantly manages to project. Perhaps, he is attracted to Courtney because they are alike deep down?
