FarNorthDallas, I was thinking the same thing with Ali! I think she was being very manipulative and it backfired on her. It doesn't make sense to me that she would go on a show and her employer say "time to come back or else". There is probably a week left right?

And LMAO about Vienna, I was thinking that too about her 'wealthy background'... um where????

I just don't see Gia and Jake together, don't know why but they don't match.

According to Reality Steve, Ali works for Facebook. I can see an employer saying "enough is enough, get back to work!" Especially in this economy.

I can't imagine Jake sticking with Vienna ATFR once he starts hearing more about her life before he came along. Editing probably has a lot to do with why we don't hear about Vienna's divorce. I certainly wouldn't be open about cheating on my hubby while he was away on duty then cleaning out the bank account for implants.

I can't see a lasting relationship between Jake and any of these women. But I like watching the train wreck.

And if Vienna's "from money" they must bury it in the backyard in old coffee cans. I also hear Jake actually owns a limo company in Dallas, but that doesn't have the same ring as "pilot". Maybe he is laid off and does the limo thing for now.

Ali's decision was wise. She has no idea if he would pick her in the end. Just because he didn't want her gone yet, doesn't mean anything. She has to support herself.

Vienna - will never like her. I think she's got 2 sides. The bitc* side and the Bitc* side. It's all about her. Give me, give me!

Here is my latest theory: Jake doesn't really see himself forever and ever with any of these three girls (neither do most of us...). So - he picks the girl that he thinks will give him the best chance for coming out smelling like a rose when they break up a month later.

If he chose shy Gia or sweet Tenley and then broke up with them a month after the show ended, we would all think he was a creep, but if he chooses Vienna and then it doesn't work out, we would all either have a "I could have seen that coming" or a "poor Jake, he didn't really know the real Vienna like we did" attitude.

Foolishly, I invest a lot of time in this stupid show and then get mad at how the producers try to manipulate us (much as Ali does to Jake). I believe that Ali really cares for Jake but was trying to manipulte him the first time she came to talk with him -- almost begging him to tell her "Yes, you're the one I plan to put the ring on. Please stay." He seemed almost more annoyed than upset to me.

Yes, I believe she cares about Jake and her tears were real, but from earlier statements she's made, I think she's into her job even more (Perhaps that's one reason her previous boyfriends cheated.) I'm almost not sorry to see her go, but I was angry when I saw the previews for next week and saw where she's going to call Jake and perhaps ask for another chance. The whole thing is shades of Ed and Jillian last year, and I'm sick of it. It's not fair to Jake or to the other women.

Of all the hometown dates, I enjoyed Tenley's the most. They seem to share the same values and seem like a more natural couple to me. I can see them as a team in a long-term marriage. I just have a feeling he's afraid she's not over her ex and he'll have to deal with the baggage.

I've really warmed up to Gia too (put not as much as Jake has!), but feel that Jake fits in better with Tenley's family.

As for Vienna, her home, nor her family was ANYTHING like I was anticipating the way she talked about them. Her dad actually kind of creeped me out. I sure hope Reality Steve is wrong, and that Jake picks someone else. Vienna is just not mature enough or honest enough (re her past) for me to want her with Jake.

My vote is for Tenley, but I feel like I will end up disappointed -- again.

I like Tenley out of the four- she's the only normal down to earth one and has a normal nice family. I'm afraid Jake will pick Ali since she will be coming back ugh Just like Jillian picked Ed when he left and came back!

Let us keep one thing in mind, though. Yes, Ali CALLS Jake, but no one has said that she actually returns.

Gia is the next to go (he didn't "ask" if he could have her hand in marriage should it come to that)

Tenley is probably the best "match" but.....

Jake is dying to get into Vienna's cut off shorts so she will probably be picked for the Final Rose

Although I agree Gia is probably the next to go, just because we viewers didn't see Jake ask for Gia's hand in marriage doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I agree. The editors for this show are amazing...they can turn a sneeze by one of the girls into a marriage proposal. Anyone who watches this show with any regularity knows that you might as well just ignore the previews for next week and the season previews at the beginning because they have manipulated every single nuiance into something bigger.
