it can't be REAL Deal more scripted then reality........ we all know that celebrties and most welathy people have their staff sign very long legal documents to protect their privacy and even more so thier children.

but what i find ironic how these celebs and wealthy peps want to protect there kids from the paps, stalkers, kidnappers and the media but when it comes to making money they sign up for a show like this.... lol

I've been a Nanny but not in Beverly Hills. Sure would be nice to get $35 or $40/hr.
Parents around here think $10-12/hr is a lot for them to dish out!

Definitely depends on where you live. On the East Coast in certain areas you would pay about as much. Watched the show last night. Found it amusing, definitely scripted.

The "celebrity" parents are on this show for exposure, they are c list at best. I could swear I have seen the blonde parent who just got married on a reality show herself. The thing that really stood out in the few episodes I have seen is that the woman who is supposedly starting this nanny referral business is not very smart, or mature. She's gorgeous so they put her on TV, but she lacks the intelligence to start any business. I don't really care if reality shows are real or not, I'ver never understood why that matters to anyone, these shows are just fluff entertainment with pretty people to look at.

I was a nanny while in college for a wealthy family, that was early 2000s, I made $14/hr and that was considered good at the time. I don't know why anyone would pay a nanny $40/hr. I do think that it's an important job, and done properly it's a difficult job, child care workers should be payed reasonably well, but come on, anything over $20-$25 is excessive. You need a nanny to take care of your child, not be your best friend, and someone who is focused on things like designer clothes, and status cars isn't who you want taking care of your child.
