Could someone explain the bold? Is it, whoever kills Pope's assassin gets a $5,000,000 bounty? What good does that do to Pope because once he's out of the picture, Augustine has free reign to take over (however he did mention he knows Pope since he was 17).

Maybe. He has probably had less than 10 minutes of screen time so I doubt SOA keeps him all that busy. I just dont find it very realistic that Jax takes out someone of that stature or at least does so and gets away with it. Maybe someone else like the cartel ends up doing it.
