I didn't watch Mary Hartmann, Mary Hartmann but I did watch Fernwood Tonight which was about the same time (HILARIOUS!). I also LOVED Soap.

I wish Family was still shown on some of the retro channels. It was very good. I see lots of kids of the 70's in this thread!

I used to watch Diver Dan, Thunderbirds, Paul Winchell's club house, plus the standards...Green Acres, Petticoat junction, Lucy, Bewitched, Flying Nun...as I got older Creature Feature (though it did give me nightmares, as well as Night Gallery)

I had forgotten all about Fernwood Tonight. I watched that too but not often, it seems. Soap was hilarious.

Soap was in the 70's? Vague recollection of it, can't think who was in it.

Space Giants. It came on in the afternoons in the late 70s when TBS was known as Superstation WTBS. Loved it as a kid.

He would help people along the way, e.g. by transfusing some of his blood to dying kids. OK, I'm laughing as I write this 'cause it sounds so hokey, but I was just a kid and I loved the show. Alas, it didn't last long.
I just found this thread and couldn't help but comment on The Immortal. I. LOVED. THIS. SHOW.

I think the people that were after the main character (played by hunky Christopher George) were actually a rich dying man's henchmen. He wanted the guy's blood so that he could live. I was probably about 12 when this show came out.

Loved Christopher George.
