It would seem maybe a Stella and Sam something could be brewing with the news about Severide and Taylor Kinney not renewing his contract for next season. Thoughts?
Yeah, I kind of wondered if that might be a possibility.
Is it definite that Severide/Taylor Kinney is not coming back next season, or is it a 'we don't know for sure yet' ?
Wow, so many open ends about who may or may not be on the show next season......
Will Mouch die from his wound ?
Will Severide come back ?
Stella said 'I'll be back, I'm leaving to go get my husband'....but will she come back ?
Will Sylvie say yes to Matt's marriage proposal ?
If she does say yes, will she leave the show to be with Matt in Oregon, or will Matt/Jesse Spencer come back to the show ? The last time Matt/Jesse Spencer was on the show (mid season ?) DDC Boden said to him 'What will it take to get you back ? IIRC, they were interrupted before he could answer. Some people on You Tube think there is another option re that....that Sylvie says yes and Matt comes back to Chicago, but Matt doesn't work at 51.
Brett/Kara Killmer is exiting the show. For me she's half the reason to watch!
I'd guess that might mean that Jesse Spencer/Matt Casey is not coming back to the show as a regular, and that Kara Killmer/Sylvie Brett is accepting his (the character Casey's) marriage proposal and moving to Oregon to be with him.
ETA: I found an article in Variety that mentioned that Kara is leaving during Season 12, and that it is unknown how many Season 12 episodes she will be in., The article also mentioned that Taylor Kinney is coming back, and that that will be sometime during Season 12.
