Luzianne, I certainly had no intent of stepping on your comment, I really think there are those out there who are not readily familiar with Mayan prophecies.

It's hard for the writers to end things. I think I have not seen any ending as bad as the Seinfeld one.

I have a problem with the prosecutor not pressing charges against McK. I don't know, but I think I remember old and sickly people being prosecuted. There would have had to have been a grueling inquiry, at the very least.

The writers threw all they could think of to give us an emotionally wrenching episode, didn't they?

My thought on that is that I believe the prosecuter realized that Karen really only had days, maybe a couple of weeks if even that. So before any paperwork would even be filed, she would have died.

So it would have of been a waste of every ones time and money.

Default Emmy Material

Kathryn Joosten deserves an Emmy for her work on the series finale alone! Can you imagine how hard that must have been for her?

I agree. She was a phenominal actress....and deserves an Emmy.

That final storyline made me uncomfortable.....knowing her real life health situation......I can't imagine how it must have made her feel.

She was a real professional......and such courage.

I heard about her death the day it happened and all I could think of was that death scene on DH. I hope RL mimicked that. I hope she passed while listentng to Johhny Mathis. She will be missed.

I agree about the Emmy posthumously.

RIP Katherine Joosten, you were a great actress. You made me smile too. Thank you.

I find it interesting how NBCUniversal stole the idea & concept of the Desperate Housewives, created The Real Housewives shows and ran with it, but we all know the Housewife thing started with this one. Desperate Housewives are the OGs of the housewife craze.
