I think the writers decided to turn Teri into a brainless airhead. She wasn't that bad in the first season.
I also don't really like the light haired guy of the gay couple. He just seems rude no matter what. His partner seems more easy going.

I wish they'd get rid of the ditzy stuff and bring back more evil fun. Like Katherine letting her mother/grandmother? die. The cryptic note will no doubt reveal what really happened to Katherines husband, and the daughter will find the note.

Teri Hatcher's character is driving me insane. My favorite line was the gay guy: "I hope we can live up to your stereotype". hahahhahahaha

I agree...."Susan" is just too over the top...no one acts like that and still has friends!!!! Anybody with a brain would run from her...she is on overdrive the whole time.

I also loved the whole "critters" story...when Edie was watching them take the crabcakes my hubby and I laughed so much.....this should be interesting!!!

Notice how they changed Edie into a groveling desperate woman to get Carlos..when before, all she had to do was act sexy and all the guys went for her. lol
Are the writers that stupid thinking we won't know this when they decide to change the characters personalities?

It's very interesting to know what I'm going to see hopefully soon. With the syncronisation it takes a while before we get a new season over here in Germany.
Last year I could watch the last season earlier on pay TV but now another channel bought the rights and it takes soooooooo long.
Finally the next season started. It's the one where the story starts with Edie and Carlos.
I'm surprised Lynette will have cancer. I really like her character.

I so don't like Susan, she's way over the top and not funny anymore. I liked her better at the beginning.
I also like Gabrielle a lot, she can be such .... (sorry that was cancelled out).
At the moment it's my favourite TV show. Hubby and I watch it every Wednesday and have to laugh a lot.

I'm so sick of Susan too!!! Her behavior is not funny at all, just annoying.

I also thought the crab cakes segment was hysterical. Hopefully it will get really interesting soon.

Default Yes, I watch the show with or without my wife

It is ok, overall. The latin couple getting back to together is rediculous, after everything the evil woman did to Carlos, heck no. That mayor is going to turn up next week and force Carlos to leave her for good. Deedee is very evil. She tried to get the Mayor to kill Carlos, she instigated. Sorry Terry, but your character is flawed. At first everyone kind of overlooked your obnoxius behavoir. Now, it is rediculous, no wonder Mike is grabbing the pills from the "P-Trap" next week, so he can bare living with you. That new lady that moved in with her "abducted" daughter is mean. She and her husband abducted that girl, that isn't her daughter. That is why the grandmother suddenly passed before she could tell her story. The paper will be found by the mother. The gay guys installing that fountain was freaking rediculous. Bree is off her rocker, just like her husband. Both of her children went from being sweet and innocent to little Devils. The one son is gay proud and the daughter is a *****.

What a show! The ruined it with the drama. Do the screen writers not take notes of shows like Friends, Seinfield, etc. It isn't the nagative emotions that keep viewers, it is the laughs! You might attract attention for a little while with drama, eventually everyone grows tired of it.

Default Beyond control???

I love desperate housewives and I look forward to each week, however, some of the characters are beyond control and it's beginning to seem unreal. It wasn't like this in previous seasons, but I think that Susan has become too paranoid and unattractive all together. The whole Gabriella marrying the mayor thing went too far...so unreal. Also, of all the men out there, why is Edie set on Carlos???? I enjoy Bree's storyline the best...the fake pregnancy was great! I really dont care for Lynette's cancer scenario...I'm tired of seeing her bald and with the scarf on her head. Why dont they allow her to wear wigs more often for the show? The new lady on the block (Mary) really should not have return to the season....and please explain why they had the gay men move in? I haven't quite figured out their role in the season....just too far out of hand and uninteresting for the gay men to be there.

What did everyone think of last weekend's tornado episode? I am really starting to get turned off by the ridiculous plots and coincidences.

I enjoy desperate housewives but not to the point where I HAVE to see it. If there is a good movie or something i just read recap.
But how about Lynettes scream at the end when she saw Mrs. Mcclusky's home. I got goosebumps.
