I thought most of the flash forwards were dumb. Especially Gabby's, that was just ridiculous.
Lynette's flash forward was the only good one. That was really well done. The rest were cartoonish and ridiculous.
I am a little disappointed that the writer's didnt have more balls with who was killed off. I hardly call Lynette losing a baby and Karl getting killed a show changing event. This whole thing was oversold big time.
I walked away during Gabby's and saw the house in shambles. I just didn't get it.
I definitely agree it was oversold. Too bad I can't get that hour of my life back.
I also hated the stupid storylines. The writer's have either lost their minds or they hired some homeless people off the street who are now writing for the show.
What is Katherine doing in this show? She is ill-fitting. I would make her go first, Angie is not that bad, I want to know her story. Edie was 100 times better than Katherine.
The flashbacks looked like as if hypochondriac writers swallowed previous light-hearted writing team, and presented their view of *real* life.
It's like every season there's a creepy neighbor or family with some big dark secret--the Applewhites, Edie's hubby, George the psycho pharmacist, Angie and her family. Oh and Mike Delphino started out really secretive, now he's pretty boring.
I agree about Katherine though, she never really fit in, even though she was the perfect housewifey type. But she 'came back' with a big secret too, when she first joined the show.
I think that ABC lost a big audience when they got rid of Eddie and the sexy version of Gaby. Those 2 running around in skimpy outifits made a lot of men watch the show...
May be the writers are all women now
I agree that Katherine's character should go, may be she is in an asylum and may bring her back later...
Bree is a cornerstone to the show. Her character is THE "desperate housewife" a premise the show is based on. I hope they don't get rid of her.
Does anyone know when this show is due to end altogether? I don't read anything with spoilers and so forth.
