I use a combination of TV, on-demand, and the internet. If I can I try to catch my shows on TV. If I miss it I will watch it on demand. If niether option works than I go to the interent. The TV show "Person of Interest" is a perfect example of that. For some reason that show is not on-demand so I have to go on the internet to find it.

DVR

If it's not network tv, then I'll watch it on Demand. Otherwise I'll still have annoying commercials and can't ff through them. If it's cable tv, then on Demand is awesome.

Not sure why I can watch youtube videos all day but when I try to watch a ep on hulu.com, abc.com or nbc.com the episode always freezes

I decided after this week that I will watch all current shows On Demand because it's no commercials which means no interruptions. I tried watching a Fox TV show last night and it seems like it was a commercial every 7 minutes for a 30 minute show. I don't have DVR because it's a extra service and I don't like the internet because of the advertisements. So On Demand it is. Anyone else watch their shows this way?
Of the few shows that I regularly watch, I watch on TV whenever possible. I don't really like watching via the internet, but since I don't have a DVR and I'm always working on Tuesday nights, I do watch NCIS online. Yes, the commercials can be a pain, both with regular tv and internet viewing.

How do you do On Demand viewing?

Well if you have Comcast you just go to the On Demand menu by pressing 1 and then go to tv shows and then select by network and go from there. I think Comcast is the only cable provider that offers On Demand but I could be wrong

Comcast isn't available in my area. I use Cablevision/Optimum for my tv service. Verizon Fios (fiber optic) is also available in this area, but I haven't tried it.
