"Cash Cab" is great. I love to catch it when I remember that it's on, and/or have time to watch it. I also look for the cash cab in Manhatttan, and find it intriguing when one can be unwittingly be part of a game show, as a pedestrian "expert" or a participant. It's a cool premise. It's sort of a merging of "Taxi Cab Confessions" and quiz show, since the people are caught unscripted by getting into the cash cab at random.
We really enjoy this show. Plus, we have decided if we were to ever land in the cash cab, we would definitely go for the double or nothing video at the end!
One rumor I heard was that Ben felt the Nixon/Frost special was a "sellout" for the movie and he didn't want to participate. Ben is still plastered all over the Cash Cab website as of last night anyway.
Hopefully it was a one time thing. BTW, the host they used last night is the guy that does Ben's role on the Canadian version of the show.
Four generations at my house love Cash Cab. After a hard, stinky day, it really makes me smile. As long as all four of us get in the cab, we should do well!
I think it should be on a major network, though. A lot of folks that I know have never seen it. And Ben Bailey absolutely makes the show. It wouldn't be the same without him.
