I'll tune in ... and btw, you watched 90210 in middle school? Geez, I was addicted to the show after I was out of college and graduate school and taped it whenever I couldn't make it home from the office in time to watch. Thanks for making feel really old

I plan to watch. I started watching it the summer before I went to college and watched the whole way through! I cried like a baby when Donna and David got married! I don't know if this one will come close to the original but we'll see. I wonder if David will be on since he and Donna got married. I hope to goodness they aren't divorced or something. It'll be interesting.

austinsmom -- OMG, you know I never even thought about David AND Donna. I LOVED the way he proposed on the sand and their wedding too! I loved them together and I will so so upset to find uot they got divorced or something! Hopefully he is always "traveling for work" or something! I can't wait to see who will hook up with Rob Estes! He is such a hottie. But, I heart Lori Laughlin too!

I watched the original. I was embarrassed to admit it, but would just to find kindred souls. I knew it was a horrible show, but I loved it all the same. Yet, I would like to leave it in the 90s. No way will I tune into the second round.

What?? 1. I watched it in the 90s and am totally not embarrassed! 2. How could you not be excited for
this?? 3. I think it will be really interesting with the new cast and the old cast combo. I think you are gonna check it out, just the first episode at least! JK

It was diverse! Wasn't there a black guy once? When they were still in HS?

See, this stuff drives me nuts. Whose to say the demographics on the show are not realistic? I didn't see many blacks or Hispanices in Beverly Hills when I was out there so I doubt very seriously many lived in the 90210 area code to go to that school. Jessie was a bartender when Andrea met him. He wasn't a part of the area. Andrea lied about her address to go there. When they went to college it was more diverse which is realistic. Donna actually dated a guy that was black who Brandon tutored. There are plenty of shows with black people on them. EVERY show doesn't have to have blacks any more than EVERY show has to have whites in it. I loved the Fresh Prince and Family Matters and they rarely had white people on.

I enjoyed the original 90210 once the show matured, I was not a fan of the first couple of seasons, but after that I became quite hooked until later when I lost interest with the last two seasons.

I will not watch the new one though, it just doesn't look all that good to me and even bringing back a couple of the original characters won't be enough to bring me back as a viewer. I hope it's good for those of you that will tune in though.

Really j760? I read that Rob Thomas, the writer from Dawson's Creek and Veronica Mars is the writer for this spin-off. I never really watched Dawson's Creek, but I love Veronica Mars. I think with his talent and this new cast, this show will definitely be entertaining.
