I'm still trying to figure out why the creators/producers and Lisa herself chose this angle to represent SUR and Lisa. All the BS they show could been in any restaurant USA.
Just not seeing a connection to Lisa, her restaurant per se........
It's a stinko show with despicable people.

I agree ^^^ This show actually makes Lisa not look like the best boss/owner. Anyone that would hire a group of young friends that get involved with each other and then break up, always causing a lot of drama, doesn't appear to be a smart businesswoman. I thought Lisa's hubby was just as involved as her with Sur, but you never see him.

OK I'll fess up I've watched this train wreck but it is leaving me with less than warm feelings for Lisa. I'd fire the whole lot.

Unless a person is one of those people that gets really star struck, I don't see how this show would make anyone want to go to Sur. I am sure Lisa thought this show would bring her lots of people eating/drinking at Sur, but it doesn't make me feel like going there.

This may be OT, but since it's a spin-off...saw a preview for BH next week where someone says to Lisa that she doesn't own Sur. I'm now convinced it's a Bravo invention. It's "real" (as in an operating restaurant) but I bet the only people who end up going there are out of towners visiting LA for the first time (full disclosure, I have never been to LA myself) who think it's the hip place to be, or as you said, the star struck.

yea, Camille says it. Rather hateful like too
I wouldn't have known about SUR if not for Lisa;which then I might have visited it were I ever in the area. Then this dumbazz show comes on and I changed my mind.

I thought the show would be about running the restaurant; but no instead we get these spoiled, hateful, entitled brats and who they are doing and when.........idiotic

Yep. There may be similar things going on in our local "upscale" restaurants, but I don't want to know about it.

The last episode was a hot mess. I confess to watching it when I couldn't sleep.

Who would willingly portray themselves like that? Do they think it is a springboard to something else?

I think that is just what it is, a springboard to acting and/or modeling. They said that is what they all aspire to do.

I remember (last season?) when they were building SUR (Sexy Unique Restaurant according to Lisa) and Lisa and Ken (mostly Lisa it seemed) were directing the workers on what to do, how to place things, etc. If I recall, don't they have a partner in the restaurant?
