Sorry to be a drag. I found the show boring. No interesting characters. Even the bad guy gave no rhyme nor reason why anyone would be attracted to being a fan. No charismatic personality. No philosophic insights as to society's weaknesses and injustice. Just a lot of brutality, just for its own sake, and since there was no character development, who cared? It was like reading a comic book, just one supposed 'thrill' after another, which was way too redundant.

Maybe the next episodes will elicit some reason for involvement, some point of identification with the characters. I thought the first episode stank! I was not exposed to any of the before show hype, however, so I came into it blind, with no expectations one way or another.

I like Bacon, too - usually.

I saw a little charisma and think more will be revealed. I thought it was pretty well written, personally. With the exception of a few cliches, it seemed different than most of these type of dramas.

For me, it has two big hooks: written by Kevin Williamson and the disgraced, alcoholic ex-cop who's a harda** because he doesn't like himself much.

Eh the first episode was ok, I wasn't blown away. The girl that had writing all over her, what did the writing say?

The writing was excerpts from the works of Edgar Allen Poe.

Am I the only person who thought it wasn't as good as I thought it would be? Has potential but I was expecting more.

I thought the pilot episode was good, and will most likely continue to watch. I was thinking to myself though how violent network television has become. The woman stabbing herself in the eye, the young girl dropped from the ceiling with her eyes cut out, use to be that scenes like that we're reserved for cable channels, not primetime network TV.

Enjoyed it, had some good twist and turns. I look forward to the next episode, as long as I can remember the night it airs.

I knew nothing of this show until reading about it in this forum. I didn't watch the preview or anything. I went solely by everyone in here's reaction to it. We watched it last night on hulu and I have to say that my husband and I both thought it was a good show. I think it might get boring after a few more episodes though. I think each episode might feel like the previous, and get stale after awhile.
