Maks had been negotiating some Hollywood deals, its possible that something broke that required him immediately....

i have heard of some friction between Maks and the producers......he's a great dancer but has a tiny touch of arrogance

There are rumors that Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd will be added to the cast -- but that hasnt been confirmed yet.

Hmmm...looks like the exclusion of Maks, Chelsie Hightower, Louis Van Amstel (again), Anna Trebunskaya and Peta Murgatroyd (who may end up on the show after all) this season was the decision of the producers, not the pros themselves.

Whoo-Hoo! Looking forward to it!
I think it looks like an interesting season, last season was kind of a rerun with the All-Stars theme. Be good to see some new faces in the pros.

I was actually hoping they would move Oksana up from the troupe, the way she manages all that hair fascinates me.

Andy Dick? Really? I can see the sessions now - all the conversation will have to be bleeped.

I thought Derek was leaving?

I think Derek is leaving after this season (or maybe the next one).

I'm actually quite disappointed that they agreed to have someone of Andy Dick's caliber (or lack thereof) on the show. I'm sure he'll drop his pants more than once -- so his language isnt the only thing that will have to be bleeped.

I hope you're right. But he may have more stoned viewers who like him or feel sorry for him than we realize. Look at Bristol Palin.

Kind of doubt they are part of the viewership for DWTS.

I have caught a few pro ballroom dancing shows in my life and they all seemed stuffy to me. I didn't watch the whole program when I did stumble across one. All the women had slicked back hair drawn so tight they wouldn't need a facelift. Not to mention the tons of makeup they applied and I never understood why they had to wear barely there costumes.

Sounds awful now that I've typed it up but I'm being honest. I am glad I tuned into DWTS to see Donny Osmond because now I really enjoy the dancing.

I would like to see Derek with a partner that would be challenging and have some limitations to see how he would handle that. Perhaps before he leaves they might give him one???

I'm looking forward to see how D.L. Hughley does it will be interesting to see that side of him.
