I watched one episode and that black woman with the big mouth was such a turn off I turned off the TV and will never go back. To many things that are worth watching to waste one's time with American Idol. I might add: if Adam Lambert would have won, I would have stopped watching then. I don't think anyone's 'idol' should be gay, especially America's Idol.

To (try using too) many things that are worth watching to waste one's time with American Idol. I might add: if Adam Lambert would have won, I would have stopped watching then. I don't think anyone's 'idol' should be gay, especially America's Idol. Heaven forbid that the show makes more gay people
Someone in the American Idol 2013 thread mentioned that gays shouldn't be "American Idols", and this thread was created in response to their comment.
I wanted to see how others felt on the subject, so I posted the poll.
For those who don't think gays should be American Idols, I am curious why you feel this way?
Elton John and Freddy Mercury are two of my favorite singers of all time, and what they do/did in their private lives is no business of mine. Their music is the only thing I care about.

It's about what people feel about idolizing gay people as "American Idols".
You have twice brought up the main American Idol thread in progress and even quoted a post from that thread. We are not going to have duplicate threads going. Feel free to continue posting on that thread. And if you want to discuss controversial topics you can do that in the appropriate forum.
