The right person went home. I have to admit I was crying along with CJ, Jennifer, and the other contestants. CJ has a huge heart and is so likeable. I hope things turn out good for him in life. He seems like a truly humble and good, kind person. Sam should go next, then Jessica.
Sam is getting ridiculous. I can see that the AI voters don;t get Alec, they never get the real talented ones. Jena is the best overall, and far better than Jessica.
Just viewed the Voice for a bit. Are they seriously kidding? I wonder if the Voice chooses contestants that the judges feel far superior to, or whether they just don;t attract talent. Either way, I didn't hear a top 100 on Voice tonight.
The real stars on AI this year are Caleb, Alex and Jenna. Probably the best top 3 ever.
Jena wasn't greta, Caleb was awesome, at least on the second song. Alex ditto, great. Sam was lame, he could;t do funk if it was injected in him. Jessica was very good.
I'd send Sam home, have a drink, and be glad he left.
I agree. I've sorta ignored the show this year, only catching it every other week or so and missing most of the results shows but the closer it gets to the end the more I pay attention. I did catch all of the audition shows so I knew who they all were going in. So far, for me, Jena is the only one I'm at all impressed with. The rest are 'okay' but none of them has, what I call, 'star quality'. Jena has more than the rest. At least she MOVES and has personality. The rest just stand there and 'hide' behind their guitars. I hope Jena wins. Caleb can be second.
I'm enjoying watching Jena learn to work the stage. I think she 'gets it' more than any of the other contestants. I like her Cher Hair too - the bangs suit her.
Caleb has a generous heart, I was noticing when he was singing the duet with Jess, how he pulls her into the performance up to his level - and she responds to it. She is way better performance-wise when she sings with Caleb, he really brings out her best. Plus he always gives props to the band - and they deserve it, especially on that White Snake song last night WOW!
