I also loved both earlier seasons. I haven't had time to start watching this one yet.
I liked both of the earlier seasons too. But I'll give season 1 the edge because it thought it was interesting having to figure out the "rules" of the house like when the ghosts could leave the premises or how a spirit became trapped there. It was also interesting trying to figure out who was actually a ghost or who was human.

All the way to the very end I never figured out that everyone was a ghost! I was shocked when that was revealed.
I know, I'm such a geek. All day on Wednesday, I look forward to 10pm. Get my bath and ironing, and household stuff all done before then.
Then 11pm is such a let-down. I wish they had something like "Talking Dead" for American Horror Story! I want an hour of re-hashing afterward!

Last night's show...O M G. Just when you thought things were getting slow and was tired to see another videogame ad, the episode got TWISTED. Frankenstein Kyle ended relationship with mother, Queenie had encounter with minotaur, Cordelia looked for family planning advice, and Fiona "cut-up" competition... AGAIN. I wonder what happens with lonely Misty. A couple people now require her talents. The good writing from this show never disappoints. I look forward to what brews in next week's episode.
Well they have pretty much turned this into a chick show it's almost unbearable to watch anymore.
It's getting unbearable to watch for the same reason that it can't get sponsors for anything but booze, other FX programs, and techie products--its emphasis on m----------n and the writers' apparent (and obligatory) disdain for Christians (where's the snooze smiley?).
An example of groundbreaking horror genre, it ain't.
