It could possibly have a saving grace if it would concentrate on the court action but this show was like watching a bodice-ripper to me. I don't do bodice-rippers.
I gave it a chance but the show fell on its face. I won't be watching again.
They took a whole painfully slow hour to relay essentially the same plot information that was delivered in the 30 second preview over the summer. The affair seemed too contrived and completely lacked any believability. I think I'd rather get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday nights than try to stay awake through this.
Yeah, I watched it because it was the only thing on. Bodice-ripper is a good description. It had 'formula romance novel' written all over it. Including the overly dramatic title. They should dump that and move Revenge into the later spot, so it won't conflict with The Good Wife. That would make me happy
I had heard the reviews for this were pretty bad and it's too bad. The wife was all over me to make sure I set up the DVR to record. I'll sit through traditional "chick shows" with her if they have a decent story (uhhh and hot women ) so I was half looking forward to it. Guess we'll have to hold out hope for something else.
