Indeed. It was nice shout-out to true Sci-Fi fans. Pilot show was ok. For Detective Kennex, Karl Urban should act less like Judge Dredd & more like "Bones" McKoy. Hope to see more female characters than Minka Kelly's cop, Lili Taylor's Lt., and "lost" gf.

Almost human is copied from a British Cop series , exact same concept , not sure how popular it was over there either, anyhow I thought I saw the actor from FRIENDS in that youtube clip, that always puts me off when I see one of them in another part

Overall, I really liked the "look" of the show and the cast is very appealing.

I think it does have potential, however, I was quite taken aback by how graphic it was for so early in the evening. Not something I'd want youngish (10 and under) kids to be watching.

Apparently all police in the future eat noodles sitting outside, in the rain.

I agree with your assessment. Tonight was my first vewing, I missed the pilot. I enjoyed what I did see of this second episode, so, I will tune in again to see how it continues.

I just caught both episodes on Hulu Plus. Hey, I like it! Love Dorian.....am intrigued with the idea of artificial intelligence with emotions. Those sexbots were kinda scary, but the one cop's response was really pithy! LOL! I plan to watch again. BTW, I never saw any of the prior shows earlier posters referenced, so this is new for me. And the ex-girlfriend is still out there somewhere, Right? Then who was shown in the evidence locker? Did they ever figure out what that syndicate was after?
