I love the actor who plays Landry's father - he was a Secret Service Agent on "24" a few seasons back and I just fell in love with him then. I was very happy to see him pop up on my new favorite show!

Pretty good episode last night. I was a tad bored with some of the SL like Saracin and the nurse. ZZZZZZZ

Whoopee that Landry is not going to jail and they can finally move on and away from that SL. I loved how his dad looked out for him and loved him so much. Even though some of the things he did were wrong I could totally see myself doing the same thing for my kids.

Finally what is up with the creepy roommate of whatshisface? Weird!

I am very glad we can let the whole murder thing go now. I know the writers used it as a ploy to get Landry and Tyra together, and it worked, so now we can move on. Whoo!

I love Riggins. *swoon*
His roommate was creeping me OUT. Now I'm worried that he's going to start stalking Riggins or something. I wouldn't be surprised!

Glad I found this thread. I'm addicted to only 2 shows: FNL and The Riches.

Some questions and comments:

1. When is this show coming back from hiatus (if ever?)
2. Love Kyle Chandler--always have. He was great in "Homecoming" (another show I loved which was cancelled. ::sigh:: Also Early Edition, though I never watched it very much)
3. Hate Lila's character. Either the actress plays her very well or I hate the actress too. LOL
4. Buddy cheating--he got what he deserves and I'm glad Mrs. Buddy has moved on.
5. Love Riggins. Didn't know how I felt about him at the beginning of the show. He was the obligatory bad-boy which was kind of boring but he's taken on some depth and dimension.
6. Conversely, don't like Jason Street. He's too one dimensional
7. I like Saracen and all his trials and tribulatios. I hope things work out for him--whatever happens.
8. I go back and forth on Tami. I guess it's because the character is so typically "Texas" and I'm not a fan of anything "Texas" (sorry Texas people--it's a personal thing stemming from a very bad time in my life.--nothing to do with you good citizens of Texas)

Ouch. This Texas woman is sorry you feel that way.

I know that NBC just picked up the show for a third season (WHOO!) so I imagine it'll be back on this fall.

My wife just told me that the show was not coming back, I hope your right, it is one of our mindless guilty pleasures on fri nights. I love everything Texas by the way!

I'm trying to remember where I saw the news that NBC had picked the show up for a third season, but I know I did read it somewhere. I'll try to find it and post it if I do.
