I totally missed that. I guess I need to watch both episodes again.

Sorry if I spoiled anything for you. I believe he mentioned it at the tail end of episode 1.

He said something like ,"that's a problem because we got the guy in 95".

Then in episode 2 they showed Kohl the murder scene from the second murder.

Not giving away a lot here. I think folks should watch. Way more other story.

Speaking of missing things, my husband thought he missed an episode when he saw the "previously on True Detective" handcuff scenes. Poor guy must have walked into the kitchen and missed all of the T&A last week.

This week's epoxide was the best one. They are really settling into their characters.

Hart is more messed up than Kohl.

Talk about a cliff hanger, how dare they end last nights show at that juncture? Now we have to wait an entire week to find out about the guy in the last scene.

That being said, I also intend to watch. It sounds like a good character study with crime drama involved. I agree it looks like it will be good.

Proves a point, we are defined by our liberal party regardless....and it is a shame we've come to this.
and I'm not taking sides, but....

anyway, I love the show, cannot wait for the next show, it is very exciting.
both actors, regardless of their political affliliation are exceptional.

I think they are both messed up? What do you think the deal is with 2012 Kohl? At first I thought he was a prisoner, but now? I don't know?
