Wow. I haven't been watching the new episodes on NBC. Without Munch and Cragen, no reason to start now. The series should have bowed out when Stabler left, but it was already getting bad. Really, they should have canned "SVU" and kept the original "L&O."

The time has come and gone for both of these once great shows.

I agree about the letterbox. When I find a wall to put my phantom 60 inch tv maybe. Everything in prime time and the news is coming in on NBC in letterbox now. On the 26 inch it just makes them all look tiny. Dark as in dark themes is okay with me. I'm a fan of the dark.

I liked Stabler but I like the new episodes, too. I was just disturbed when Cragen left just as I was disturbed when he left the regular Law & Order.

Richard Belzer is 70 years old. He would have retired long ago if he was a real detective. Dann Florek is actually younger than Richard Belzer.

I can't get past the guy from "Cold Case" being a regular now. I keep expecting to see Lilly come into the squad room. Come to think of it, that would actuallymake me watch!

Actually I was getting a bit fed up with Elliott Stabler. He was getting too unprofessional, too over-the-line.

But, yea, sadly I too think the show has run its course.
