Show is so boring now how many times can you do a story line about a 18 to 25 year old female getting rapped not 200 times. 16 to 20 eps a season are about rape which gets really old and boring fast. The retool sucks the Stabler years were 20x better than the retool years.

They should just reboot and call it Law and Order: NYC. Every episode goes to a different department. Criminal, SVU, Cold Case, Hip Hop Police, etc.

This show has been terrible for years. I need to stop watching.

They should have had someone older than Brooke Shields play that part.

Brooke Shields is 16 months younger than Mariska Hargitay.

I have a question

Why does the defense lawyer allow their client to take the stand and testify?

I know it is just lazy writing but it just irks me. The defense lawyer makes a case that will get his or her client to be found not guilty. The ADA IS scrambling in desperation. The next scene after the commercial break is the defendant taking the stand and incriminating themselves. Makes no sense.
