Jimmy Falon will continue to keep the Tonight Show number 1 in late night talk and the ratings will increase. When it comes to talent, Falon will become as good as Carson.

For example.

I love Jimmy. I might actually watch the Tonight Show when he takes over. Sadly I can't stay awake long enough to watch the show he has now very often. Way past my bedtime!

Jimmy Fallon is bland enough that the Tonight Show audience will enjoy him.

I like Jimmy Fallon.....but I don't like his show.

He wastes too much time on boring stuff like riding a scooter around and playing games with guests.....can't stand The Roots either.

Once Leno signs off.....I will be watching something on my DVR during that timeslot.....not NBC.

That's true and it shows how bad the late night venues have become over the years.

Does Fallon have ADD? Or did he do meth at one point in his life? His constant hopping around and wiggling and odd speech pattern makes me itchy. He seems nice, but I can't stand to watch him.

My prediction on the Tonight Show change: Letterman will retire in 2015 because he's been exhausted for years but had to had to had to outlast Leno, so yay for him, he won! After that, everything kind of depends on who succeeds Letterman at CBS. It won't be Ferguson.

I'm staying with Kimmel - he's become a good interviewer.

Wait a minute-- you mean Johnny Carson isn't hosting the Tonight show anymore ? Last time I watched that show (I think it was 1979) he was on, what happened to him?

I can't stand Jimmy Fallon, either. I've never been able to see him as anything but a bad Mike Myers wannabe.

Carson, he is not.
