With Tyrese being on Talking Dead next week, there's always a strong chance he'll get killed off. Of course this theory isn't always 100% accurate, but there is a high correlation between being the guest on TD and dying in the TWD episode immediately prior.
Seeing that so few people have actually killed humans, I'm not too surprised at the group's reluctance to go back and exterminate the Termites.
I don't think that has anything to do with it. It is just a matter of preservation. Abraham wants to continue the mission of getting Dr. Mullet to DC. Getting into a gunfight with the Termites is wasting time and not to mention the risk of death. They just want to count their blessings and move on.

It wasn't going to be a gunfight. It was going to be them sniping off the surviving Termites as they battle against walkers.

I re-watched S04E01 again (actually two more times lol) and *now* see the whole picture with terminus, the "then" and "now" flash backs. The whole you're the cattle or the butcher now makes sense. They were somewhat "governor-esk" in their warped thinking. As time goes on and the world gets darker, the encounters with other "good" guys seems very unlikely (I'm not sure picking up a guy like Bob at this juncture would work).
Personally I agreed with Rick, right or wrong the cannibals didn't deserve to live, but definitely the re-union with Judith recharged his emotional bank a bit.
I wonder if Carol will stick with the group or leave like she said she would.
I get this feeling (to use a star trek term) that Bob is the guy with the "red shirt" and I don't seem him making it past the mid season break.
Now that Kirkman allowed us to have our feel good moment I'm thinking it's about to get turned up again and twist to a whole new level of darkness.
Hard to deny, but thought she had a bullet to the head
