I agree 100%.. this episode was needed to recover, for me anyway. I loved this episode.. And i'm sorry I know Daryl is the shows big gun, but honestly all he ever does is grunt around. I cant understand what he says half the time and feel like this weeks episode is going to be Daryl grunting...
on another note, I listen to a podcast about the show and the host went to Walker Stalker in Atlanta and he was saying the Jeffrey Dean Morgan had been getting real Death Threats from fans for killing Glenn... Some just take this too far...
Interesting episode. Very tough to watch. Love the whole thing with the sandwich. Love how the runaway dude expressed the ludicrous nature of Negan's whole setup.
Dwight's wife is a babe. She looked very different on Talking Dead.

Couldn't agree more, I thought it was great, the acting. This reminded me of one of the reasons why I first became so interested in the show;just heart wrenching the whole idea of loss of purpose, loss of hope.
It seems Daryl's best chance of escape is to pretend to join Negan's group. It makes you wonder why none of Negan's henchman have killed him yet? It's not a superhuman and all of his goons are armed. Just one quick shot to the head while is back is turned will do it.
Also, I guess TWD going to continue telling only one story line per episode? Or will it mix them up in future episodes? I really hate having to wait 2 to 3 weeks to see what's happening in Alexandria or in The Kingdom.
Negan likes Daryl and doesnt want him dead so none of his henchmen would dare kill him. They all are of one hive mind and are programmed robots. Except for Dwight, baby girl and runaway dude.
How many times have people been able to sneak up on Darryl? Even the girl last night!
I loved how Negan was really proud of his living quarters. Darryl doesn't even care about that kind of thing. Also, he had it MUCH better in Alexandria. I guess Negan will find that out next week. Will he want to move his HQ to Alexandria?

I believe those were going to be Darryl's living quarters if he joined Negan.
