Explain it to me. There was at least 1-2 wks of Lori and Shane being together before Rick showed up. Then all of season 1 took place in about a 7-10 days. Rick & Lori only slept together once on the day rick returned. No other time. There was no time break between seasons 1 & 2. About a week at the farm and Lori asks Glen to get a pregnancy test.

Now that is a neat idea. There is a morse code chart in Ricks house. Michonne walked by it when she went to retrieve her rifle out of the fire place.
Was Daryl in any shape to blink a message or receive one? He has been through the ringer with the torture. He is not broken yet but he may be on the verge and Gabriel may have pushed him.
When Negan asked about Maggie, Gabriel jumped in to say she was dead and then showed them a grave.
I so wanted Rick to give Daryl a little sign that she was OK. maybe that was the HT hilltop morse code blink? but if not Daryl will be returned to his cell with Glenn and now Maggie on his conscience.
Overall what a fantastic episode. I can't get that "easy street" tune out of my head !
Gabriel did a thing about wiping the dirt off his pants. Daryl could see that. didn't he know Maggie was off to Hilltop when all this went down?

I didn't see any indication by Rick or Gabriel given to Daryl that Maggie was OK. Daryl did know that she was heading to Alexandria but the group was caught in Negans trap that fateful night and as far as he knows she might not have made it after witnessing her hubbies murder.
Daryl is in the lowest spot of his life feeling responsible for Glenn and it is even deeper than when he lost his brother and deeper than when he lost Beth and she was needlessly killed later.
All seems to be lost for our group.
Rick has lost the will to fight fearing more deaths and now they lost all their guns.
If they can team up with the Kingdom they have numbers but not many guns. The people at Hilltop have a few guns but they are not fighters. If the 3 bands team up to fight Negan's army I still think they will lose even if Carol ditches the happy homemaker facade for her inner Rambo.
This is where it all started, post 6943. We were all making jokes about Judith not being able be Shane's father, A) because she is a girl, B) because she was just born like 2 years ago and Shane was born like 35 years ago, C) because there are no time machines or gender-reassignment-surgery in the zombie apocalypse, and D) because even if Judith could have a sex change and become male, AND she could go back in a time machine, she could not have fathered Shane because she would not be a fertile male.
Mere technicalities.
Anything can happen if the writers want it to happen.
That is very interesting. Now I have to go back and watch the episode to see. But damn clever it he was doing that! Is this in the comics?
Update: Okay so the video in the link doesn't match at all the video I have. I rewound it over and over to match it up and couldn't find it at all. He blinks a lot, but nothing that matches up to the video in the link.
