What a crazy episode last night.
I'm about 3/4 ways though the book and although I like this series. there is nor comparison to the book.
The book is really good so far!
Patti (Ann Dowd) put forth a Emmy performance last night.
All I got from this episode was that I prefer the GR's not speaking because when they do they don't make any sense.
Kevin needs to tie himself to his bed when he goes to sleep because his sleepwalking is getting him into too much trouble.
I will be so mad if Jill joins the GR. Her Father has been there for her all along after her mother abandoned her and if she joins the GR that will be like a kick in the teeth to him.
Two more episodes and I'll be done with this show. I don't want to get into another Lost type show.

i agree with everything you just said.
the GR are pretty annoying. What Kevin is going through with the sleepwalking must be what happened to his dad. I know Jill has had to deal with her mom abandoning her, but she still doesn't have to act like a complete spoiled brat. As you said rxgrrl, her father has been good to her and there for her...yet she continues to act like butthead.
I also agree that I don't want another LOST. give us some answers already, what the hell is going on.

The producers and writers have suggested that no answers are going to be revealed and that in fact the premise of the show is not to find answers or provide a conclusion but focus on the lives of the characters. When I read that, I didn't watch another episode. No thanks, the whole "focus on the social interaction of people in a post-apocalyptic world" is played out. If you are expecting answers, you should probably stop watching because they are not going to provide any.

Well said AZ, and I wan't aware of that fact.
Though its been good acting for the most part, I find many of the characters annoying. Only people I can tolerate on the show so far are Nora, kevin (cop), and the priest.

Indeed. I've liked her and character from the start. I just realized she is Bill Masters mom in Masters of Sex! HBO n SHO seem to have a lot of overlaps in casting
My other fave is Nora. Whoever plays her is great!
I have no idea what is going on and usually that would annoy me but for some reason I like to watch the how anyway. *shrugs*
I don't like that no answers will be given. If the mean as to the disappearance, ok, but none about anything? That can''t be.
