Remember, the current tribe with 'no rice' is now made up of some of the members of the 'had rice' tribe. They are befuddled with the predicament and trying to come up with a solution.

I wish they would have voted that Missy (the mother) out. I wonder if they think she would be a good goat? If she cooks all their rice and they starve it'll be al their own fault. As a matter of fact, I kind of hope that happens!

Can't stand Jeremy so far although now that his wife is gone he will seem more sane. The way he ranted about his wife from episode 1 on really raised the hair on the back of my neck. And I thought his anger at Rocker was over the top.

Someone should have stopped Missy from cooking and eating so much rice. All I heard were a few feeble protests. Her stupidity costs them food, the most important component in the game of "Survivor." So why on earth didn't they vote her or her daughter out instead of Kelley?

Exactly. I saw on a survivor fb feed something about Jon? (mr. kissyface of the swing couple) was close with the mother but they never showed so none of us knew.

Keith is the only non-paired member of his tribe, and oddly the rest of the singletons ended up in the other tribe. Though that other tribe has one pair - Reed and his boyfriend.
Thanks for bringing me up to speed.

Yes season one had rice they were eating it quite quickly not really rationing and Rich was the fisherman bringing shark & some other kind of fish.

Kelley mentioned it in Survivor Live as well.

I remember back in the day when "Survivor" was really about surviving as well as a social game. Now it's more just a social game. It's been mentioned here a few times now that in the past people foraged for food. Remember when we would see the contestants fishing for what seemed like hours or days even and coming up empty handed numerous times? Then someone would score a fish and everyone would feast. They also would search the jungles for edible plants.

So now what are we going to be seeing? The tribe members sitting back and waiting to be fed? That's not surviving. That's more like camping with your parents. Daddy Jeff will supply the food. If people are not looking for food or fishing what the heck are they doing with their time? I just don't get those who, while they did have the strength to fish or forage, did not even try.

Was it totally random? Or was it staged?
