Hakim confessing is realistic. Despite his position he was the weak link among the conspirators. His fear of Jamal didn't help matters either. Remember Jamal hung him up and used him for target practice. I never thought Jamal was dumb. I thought he was an unpredictable animal that let's his short fuse get the better of him. Without Basam to be there as his moral center he'll probably be as bad as his father. Maybe worse

but I got the impression that his father wasn't as bad as what everyone thinks. It's Tariq that was the puppet master and his brother was merely the puppet.

I agree with those who think Molly and the sister and kids need to GO AWAY. They are just so awful...I can't blame Bassam for going through with it although Jamal gave him every opportunity to bow out. But that stupid family of his, maybe except for the daughter, is STUPID. They're entitled, arrogant and ignorant...all bad IMO.

The show was filmed in Israel. Filming was moved to Turkey for the final two episodes, due to the danger in Israel.

It's gonna be interesting to see what direction the show goes in season 2. One thing is certain in my eyes: Barry's not getting executed. My one bold prediction is that by season's end Barry will be the leader of Abbudin. Either Jamal willingly steps down or he's killed. However it happens Barry will end up as the head man and it's anyone's guess what kind of leader he'll be. The bigger question is how much damage will Jamal and his hair trigger temper (not to mention Tariq having his ear) cause in the meantime.

I've decided that I would like this show so much better if some terrible disaster resulted in the death of Barry's wife and kids. Just awful, dreary characters that I can't bring myself to care about even slightly.
