Now that the poor patient is dead, I think the cops will slack off on Henry. Good eppie. Too bad Jo didn't pick up on the supposed immortal ended up butt nekid in the East River like Henry. That would have proved very interesting.
The thing is he could tell them a story and not lie. He did have a stalker and worrying those he cares about would be harmed would be reason to get away. Of course in using Henry's knife he led them to his cohort and eventually his identity. I wonder if this thousand year old immortal had done the same to others of his kind as well. And yes, the next time Henry takes a swim I wonder if that might click... eventually he HAS to tell her.
I loved the cop giving him one last bit of advice to wear jammies to bed. Unfortunately, it wouldn't help.
Actually, Duncan MacLeod, the hero of the Highlander series, was not thousands of years old, only 400, being born in 1592. At least Duncan had several immortal friends to hang around with; and doesn't face the enormity of isolation that Henry does.
I was thinking of Methos, who went back to antiquity. Yes, Duncan woke up after a battle with the Engish and was kicked out his village as cursed since they knew he died. He had friends but then Henry doesn't have to do battle with other immortals over and over either. I'm wondering if we'll find there is another immortal character around who isn't a psycho around who will get revealed.
You know I was thinking the same thing. I loved them 20 years ago, but could care less that there was a Baldwin in the episode. And when a series does that you always know the guest star will be the killer!
