I watched The Defenders over the weekend. Pretty good despite Iron Fist once again being a whiny *****. I'm in the middle of season 3 of Father Brown.

Freaks and Geeks - I am really enjoying it. Cute comedy. I'm not sure where I was when this originally aired or how I missed it but thankfully Netflix was able to put it in front of me.

Its not a TV show but I watched a movie called "What happened to Monday" and it was pretty good. Sci Fi movie with some action and mystery thrown in.

Husband watching Wonder Years
Brings back memories
My daughter teaches 5thgrade in FL
She is same age as many parents if her5th grade students
Said Danika McKeller became mathematician after show finished
She does lessons on line for students
Daughter showed one of them in her class this week
Told kids to ask their parents about Winnie Cooper
Told them all your dads will know that name
One girl student came up to her and said (surprised) she is really pretty and really smart
My daughter said yes--you can be both
And she teaches in school where all kids are gifted/talented so they should know girls can be both

I'm a couple episodes in on Norsemen.
It's slow in parts, and at times the English dialog is kinda' muffled (I think it's a Norwegian production..). It's a Viking-themed comedy, and has some good laughs. Reminds me of Monty Python-type historical satire/humor.

Also simultaneously working thru Blue Bloods.. I cherry-picked episodes thru the first 4 seasons, but Season 5 is killin' it, to me it's noticeably better (& more moving) than the preceding seasons; I'm watching (& enjoying) every single Season 5 episode.

Turn - I had this in my watchlist but kind of scoffed at it thinking it might be boring. Have only watched the 1st episode but it was definitely worth watching. Thought it was excellent and looking forward to watching more episodes this weekend. Wanted to watch another last night but was too tuckered out after working all week.

Hinterland...plots are very good and supporting cast is great...not a big fan of the lead DCI. Mathias just too one dimensional a portrayal...
