I watched about 45 minutes of it and fell asleep. I'll probably catch the rest today and maybe give another episode a chance. Not sure about this one yet.

I only watched the first 10 minutes of Utopia (I had not realized it was two hours long), and I may try again tonight.

However, it reminded me of that other failed Fox TV show, Forever Eden, which aired back in 2003 (I googled it to remind myself) and was supposed to last 'forever'. It lasted seven episodes. The theory was that the cast would be voted out, new ones come on board, and so on.

At least here Fox is claiming that it will 'only' last a year. From other remarks herein, it probably won't make it through September.

I gave up after an hour. Did they get rid of the rapist?

I too only made it an hour into this crapfest. And cancelled my scheduled DVR'ing from here out.

This show made "Siberia" from last summer seem more believable!

This show isn't my idea of "Utopia".

The ex-con apparently left on Friday, tried to come back on Saturday and they wouldn't let him. But.. They did allow him to come back in temporarily on Sunday to be baptized by the preacher and he was then made to leave after that.

The show is an interesting concept, but when you choose people specifically for conflict.. It's just stunt casting. Of course, if they didn't do that, it'd probably be unbelievably boring.

I don't think there was a single person on the show whose butt I didn't want to kick.

What did the ex-con do to get sent packing? Something worse than wagging your d!ck in a girl's face?

Which one was the rapist? The ex-con? I think he's bipolar . Very strange show.
