REALLY? The kind of pressure to preform and be subjected to the criticism solely for others entertainment. A lot of child actors had this happen to them and became VERY screwed up adults. Kids don't have the same coping skills! Sad ....
they are pretty tame with the criticisms which are actually more constructive than like the adult version
just because the kids tear up sometimes if their dish doesnt come out right isnt exploting them for entertainment
i mean watching these kids, we get more "aww, how adorable" type reactions
also these shows, they teach the contestants cooking techniques and whatnot behind the scenes
notice they eliminate them in pairs that way they arent 'singling out' one kid to make it seem as if they suck or whatever
my 2 favorites oona and logan both have teared up during the judging...no big deal they arent scarred for life
This explains it. He's got so much going on now, it's crazy....I hope the new judge they choose isn't lame (in my opinion) like Anthony Bourdain, or any of the chefs that are just in it for the money. I'm hoping for a good host, or they can bring in julianne Hough and have her judge little kids food,........

The disparity in contestants' ages is nothing short of ridiculous.
4 years.. Really isn't a whole lot.
Samuel needs to be smacked. But, it seems that just like with Alexander.. He's the one setup to win.
I'm guessing him and Adaiah are the finalists.
I was glad to see that the casting was much more diverse this year, so far as location. First season was apparently a last-minute thing, and they had casting in NY and LA and that was it.
Another good thing is that S3 is apparently already in the can and will air starting January 6.
I didn't like the pop up restaurant challenge for the kids. That's way too much pressure to put on 8- and 9-year olds. Even the 12-year-olds were having a rough time with it. I think it would've been better if they had the kids set up competing food stands at a little league game or something like that.
I also thought the pop up challenge was a bit much pressure but then again it was good to see them overcome and finish off the task! Atleast, they dont have the pressure challeneges like the adults do.
