AWESOME observation -- what a nice way to loop the story back to the beginning!!

Came across this today - very clever.
Don't watch if you haven't seen the entire second season.

This is great! Reminds me of the year-end tribute that TCM does. But I'm kinda thinking' they're a few bodies short! The folks in the diner, the police at the end, and all those people in the woods…

Just finished watching both seasons, holy cow, best thing that's come from tv. I think shows would be a lot more enjoyable if they were formatted this way ... get rid of those filler episodes, ya'know? Or perhaps it's due to the auteur, Noah Hawley for composing these stories so well.

Love the entire cast from both seasons, everyone plays off of each other so well. Have to note Kirsten Dunst's performance, beautiful! Also Billy Bob Thorton from the first season. Kudos to Noah Hawley, great mind.

Yes, every time I see him I think of Burn Notice. He doesn't dissolve into this new character, for sure.

And I didn't even know Sam was playing Reagan for a long time. I just kept saying so Sam's a governor, huh? LOL It wasn't until his last scene in the bathroom that it dawned on me he was Reagan.

I know I'm late to this party. I just binge watched S2 on DVD. Loved the whole thing! I assume S3 will focus on Hanzi?

Okay back to reading this thread.

Well, now I'm gonna have to go back to season 1 to see how Hanzi died. I didn't even remember Moses Tripoli. Oops.

Off to the library website to put it on hold right now.

No. The creators have revealed only 3 things about Season 3:

1.) It won't premiere until 2017.

2.) Like Season 2, it will "loosely" tie in to the other seasons.

3.) It will be set 100 years in the future onboard the flying saucer. This latter bit was obviously tongue in cheek. The creators then went on to admit Season 3 will return to the present era rather than being a period piece like Season 2.

Hanzee/Tripoli died when Malvo killed him after the failed hit on him.

The Hanzee/Tripoli connection was the one aspect of Season 2 the made me roll my eyes. Season 2 painted Hanzee as a ruthless, efficient predator. All we ever saw Tripoli do was eat and bark orders. It was just too wide a leap for my brain to make the connection.
