The first two aren't my favorite shows, but I do like them...the third one is my favorite.
Portia di Rossi on The Office (American version) when they had to replace Steve Carrell. She would have been funny as the exact opposite of Michael Scott based on here characters in Arrested Development and Better of Ted.
David Cross on Better Off Ted..he would have been great as an HR person with the same speech pattern as Tobias Funke in Arrested Development.
Larry David as George and Lucille Bluth's neighbor on Arrested Development. The banter between David's character and Jessica Walter's character (Lucille Bluth) would have been great.
They aren't my favorite shows, but lately I've been struck by how some actors would make great siblings of other actors on different shows.
For example, the actor who stars in "About a Boy" should play the brother of the actor who plays Axel on "The Middle".
Tim Allen should play the brother of Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs.
