Fun show last night - enjoyed the plot, and the two lead characters in Carter and Jarvis. I loved Hayley Atwell in the first Captain America, and she continued to impress last night. I'm honestly surprised she didn't land more big roles after the first Capt America movie.
Should be fun to see how the next 6 or 7 episodes play out. Hopefully, we can get a renewal for a full season next year?
I don't know much about comics Flash but as a debuting TV show that would win. Because it's"history" Agent Carter has the disadvantage that we know she survived and did not turn like Agent Ward on SHIELD
But there is a lot of untold stories and things you can use in this series. There is 60 years of untold history and events. We know at some point in the 1940's/50's SRR kinda sorta becomes SHIELD, about 1960 or 1970 Howard Stark (and Maria Stark as well) dies in a car wreck and Anton Vanko is sent back to Russia but there are other things that can happen. We could see Whitehall show up at sometime perhaps.
I liked it but only got to see the first hour. I recorded the second so I'll watch later on in the week. I don't know the background though. I feel as though I need a course in Marvel Comics history lesson but I also enjoy "Marvel's Agents of Shield" without knowing much backstory so I think I can still follow this one.

I wouldn't worry about the comics. The one theory in the spoilers that was mentioned was based off of events in the movies and one that could possibly be an event but I am not quite sure if it is. I need to see that movie again to double check.
The comics would basically help with easter egg digging like spotting the Jim Hammond Human Torch android in the World Expo or Captain America punching Hitler at each one of his rallies for War Bonds in Captain America: The First Avenger.
I could swear when the butler is sewing up Carter's leg in the 2nd hour - he was wearing gloves.
Blood-born illnesses weren't even thought of back then.

I'll rewatch it but I didn't catch it. Maybe it can be retconned as butlers aren't supposed to touch skin or something. Inono, I'm trying here.
Like the show quite a bit so far - the two lead actors are appealing. I can certainly see this becoming pretty intense the last few episodes.
Who was that kung fu woman in the hallway? That was certainly a surprise twist - I thought she was going to get blasted, and then suddenly she's Jackie Chan bouncing off the wall. Russian spy? Black Widow's mother?
