I'm reading a book about the coming mini-ice age and I was reminded of the Twilight-Zone episode where a girl dreams of a world in which the earth is knocked out of orbit and drifts towards the sun. Then she wakes up and in reality, the earth is drifting away from the sun.

I found this website that lists all the episodes but I can't find it because I don't know the name of it.

Please stay on topic, if you don't mind.

Wasn't that Lois Nettleman who played in that one ? So many of the actors in those episodes became well known ; even Robert Redford stared in one .

Twilight Zone was truly a product of the paranoia of the fifties. Chilling, really. What a shame that Rod Serling died at such a young age . All that promise.... there is nothing really like that on now.

Yes, it was Lois Nettleton, and that is one of my favorite episodes of Twilight Zone.
