As per the Title I miss a bunch of TV shows from the past.......both those that were Comedy and Entertainment wise.

We all have different tastes that are a result of our age group so my choice will cover from 50 years ago up to recent.

#1 Abbot and Costello

#2 Hogans Heroes

#3 Honeymooners

#4 Sonny & Cher

#5 All in the Family

There could be a lot more but will limit just my 5 best for the time being.

There will be a wide choice and some shows will jiggle the brains of some for sure depending on the age group.

So, lets all fly and post your favorites.

There were many shows that I liked - from Howdy Doody to Breaking Bad - but only two that I really miss:

Insight - aired from 1960 - 1983 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insight_(TV_series)

The West Wing - aired from 1999 - 2006 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_West_Wing

I first saw one of my favorite actors - Martin Sheen - in a 1971 episode on Insight (The Clown of Freedom) and he later starred in The West Wing.

The Carol Burnett Show tops my list.

Also on my list would be the Jack Benny Show and The Red Skelton Show

Green Acres
What's My Line (the 1950-1967 one)
Dragnet
The Monkees

Green Acres and The Monkees because of the wacky comedy. And good music in The Monkees
Dragnet because there's something about Sgt Friday that I admire. Plus it has some funny moments
What's My Line because it's so dang classy. The audience doesn't whoop and holler before and after every commercial. In fact I've only seen them even showing the audience once and all the guys were wearing ties. And John Daly and the panel, they define class
