I kind of like it as I like the continued progression of the character

they talk about how trinity has made it so long because he's the lone wolf

dexter on the other hand has made it because he's been the wolf in sheeps clothing - he's learned how to blend in, fake relationships and social situations, carry a "normal" job that actually feeds into his desires ...... while these relationships can sometimes complicate his life, they also help him get out of situations and find outlets for his "dark passenger"

i wouldn't be surprised if things did end with rita, but i think it would be closer to issues of him being distant, not wanting the security lights shining on him, keeping his old apartment and late nights or work not being truthfull equaling cheating again/drugs and not mass murderer

i also think it's pretty clear the reporter will leak that lundy is in town independently investigating a serial killer ..... so does trinity then target lundy or dexter for his 3rd in the series (male bludgeoned to death)

I'm also interested to see where they are taking his character and whether he can adjust to this life. What bothers me is what they have done to Rita's character. She has become extremely unlikeable.

Overall, this season is off to a great start.

I've thought it would be great to discover at the end of this season that Rita is a serial killer too...

Default Does anyone watch Dexter?

I am loving season 4, I think it's the best season by far (thus far). John Lithgow's character is chilling. I actually had goosebumps while watching last night! I can not wait to see where this storyline goes.

John Lithgow is brilliant with this. The scene when he made that girl watch herself die was almost too much to watch

Rita has gotten a bit female doggy to me. She was all sweet and nice before the marriage, but after, not so much. How true to life that is.

Anyway, Lithgow is awesome. The scene in the restarunt was the best, the way he stared down that woman, I would have peed my pants if I were her.

Nice throwing in the "Trinity is a family man" thing. Thats probably how Dexter will learn to cope with his new environment, and to keep Rita from leaving him.
