It's definitely renewed for season 5. Usually starts late September-a LONG WAIT.

I did too! I was wondering if I was the only one that was annoyed by her. I think it was just her voice/demeanor, I don't know.

OMG though... what an awesome show. One of the few tv shows I watch.

I'm disappointed.

I wanted to see Dexter do her in.

No, if you watched the interview with Michael and John after they clearly talk about Trinity killing Rita as do the writers. Plus it wouldn't make any sense.

I wondered for a time if she committed suicide, seems that the therapy and all.
I watched the after show, but not convinced that they might be leading us astray.
John L. what an actor!

Amazing ending to the season. So much to look forward to for next season that it's going to be incredibly hard to wait. I looked up the books and, with the exception of the first one, they are very different than the show so I might order them to tide me over until then.

There's always that long wait between seasons, but the prior 3 seasons ended pretty cleanly, with no loose ends. This is the first one to end this way, with us having no idea what's coming next.

All this talk of Emmy's, let's not forget Jennifer Carpenter who imo was beyond amazing this season. Girlfriend has turned out to be one fantastic actresss.

I just finished the final episode last night and am still tearing up just thinking about the last two minutes.

I agree. I wasn't sold on her the first couple of years, but she did a great job this season.
