I usually check the offerings by The Smithsonian Channel on my Roku once a week. They offer a variety of subjects in a one hour format and I have found many of them to be excellent. For example, I just watched this and really enjoyed it:
I find myself watching it more and more. Similar programming to History and Discovery, so it's a good go to channel when I'm looking for something to pass some time.
got a roku sitck the other day for Hulu+ mainly and the main streaming ones but will check out Smithsonian--my husband enjoys history stuff
