I looked at the premiere and thought it was OK. Just OK. Like any new show that catches my interest I'll a couple more episodes before passing judgement
Are you sure that wasn't a promo for Undateable? They have one similar to that -- I can't believe I shaved them all the way up -- or something like that.
I don't watch any sitcoms anymore because of the lame crap like that.
All of Undateables promos are just horrible. The promos make me not want to watch the show because the jokes in them seem sooooo forced.

Possibly. I won't even tell you about the gross line (that they've already edited) repeated ad nauseum for that TV Land show that's replacing Hot in Cleveland. Apparently, women are getting their lines straight from the boys' locker room these days. I'll pass on that one, too.
I watched the first two episodes, and I'll hang in there awhile longer. I thought it was pretty good. The man in the series is good, the British chic is good, and the lesbian chick is still feeling her way.
I think they are gearing to the need to make the gay lifestyle amusing to the masses.
We are a mixed marriage. My husband does not see the gay lifestyle themed shows as anything he wants to watch, but I'm OK with it. The show will win or lose dependent upon how palatable they are to the masses.
My wife and I watched the second episode. I thought the jokes were silly and contrived and that the characters were flat and one dimensional. Well, not quite. The show definitely depends heavily on showcasing the busty Brit's assets.

It is hard to create characters in a single season though. Most of the How I Met Your Mother characters fir instance were one dimensional rather early on until they were sound long enough to form storylines.
