If they would trade in Paula Abdul, it might be a better show.

I am soooo ready for Idol to start! Especially with all of the other shows in re-runs. We love Idol at my house and never miss an episode.

One thing I have suspicions of is that in the auditions, the ones who are making fools of themselves, may just be the producers or a hired guy/girl trying to add to the ratings. Not all, some indeed do go on for their 15minutes of fame hoping to, well, become famous.

But even the auditions, the one thing I used to love because of all the bad singers are becoming quite stale. With all that said, I hope this will be the last of AI. But now, what do you think about the upcoming season?

I agree...I will not watch it this season. I'm sick of Seacrest, the judges and just about everything else connected with the show. I usually enjoy watching the first few weeks but I think I'll find something else to watch.

The ones who made last season top 12 have had previous music experience from either vocal training or choral or choir experience that should be a requirement before auditioning. But this show likes to focus more on ratings than talent.

I am pretty much over AI. The only thing I like to watch are the first few shows where it shows all the nuts cases trying to sing lol.

Anyone notice last night, Paula seemed fine in the beginning of the show, later she had that "lock jaw" look on her face and she slurred her words?

I can't sing, but I love Idol!
I love American Idol! It's a family-friendly show that my husband & I enjoy & our 4 year old loves to join in the fun, too.
I don't think I've missed a single show since Season 1 & I will vote until my fingers are sore!
I think this year will be way better than last year & I'm definately looking forward to the great competition that they bring us every year!
