Are you ready for some more American Idol?
Are you? Im not, I've gotten quite sick of that show. Last season was extremely boring and I really dont ever want to hear or see Ryan Seacrest on a television set ever again. Ever since Fantasia won, I statred to develop a unliking of the show because I felt she really wasn't any good(Still don't)and I knew others of her caliber were going to become famous such as Sanjaya of last year even though he didn't win(Thank you lord).I also think some americans take it too seriously(last year a woman said she would't eat as long as Sanjaya was still in it)Talk about crazy! But even the auditions, the one thing I used to love because of all the bad singers are becoming quite stale. With all that said, I hope this will be the last of AI. But now, what do you think about the upcoming season?

I love AI and I can't wait for it to start. But I think they do the tryouts for too long ... last year I was so sick of them. I hate Ryan Seacrest (he looks so smug) but I love the judges.

I think the show is more about the show than the singers due to larger revenue. I think the singers get a raw deal in their contracts and I could not tell you who won last year.
Where is Blake Lewis why do I not hear him on the radio yet.
My opinion now the true winner is only gave the winner status to help boost their Sales.
Kelly Clarkson got the best deal due to she was the first.
Clay Aiken puts on the best shows but where was he last year...
Chris and Carrie was two other good choices besides Kelly she the other one that is still doing really well.
Do away with the tour and start puttings these winners out there.
I would rather see the top 12 compete and none of the tryouts.
Focus on making them great singers instead of who sings the worst
Now it just making one hit wonders.

I love the show, I can't help it. I agree that the audition shows are entirely too long, and we get too many of them. When it gets down to the Top 24, I'm ready to really pay attention. This is a family show in our house and everyone picks their favorite.

I LOVE it! I hate the audition shows and don't watch all of it until the top 24 unless my 8 year old wants to. This is our show and we always watch together. Hubby is going to have to suffer this year b/c he normally works nights but he's home recuperating from ankle surgery. Already told him AI and Lost are going to be watched in my house so get over it! I just hope the singers are better this year. Blake was just horrible. If they had released albums quicker, Jordan might have had a chance. It's still good tv!
And don't forget that Bucky and Kellie are doing pretty good on country radio. Country fans are more welcoming of new artists.

I've watched every episode from the very beginning. I love the auditions. I didn't care for the Clay or Fantasia season's but other than that, I've been quite happy with the results. I have several Kelly and Carrie cds and one Bo cd. Chris Daughtry is very talented but I don't care for his style of music.

LOL It seems that we watch the same shows!
I love AI too! I do get a little bored with the super long audition shows, but we do the same thing in our house with everyone picking their favorite.

It's getting a little old, but I'm sure I'll get sucked into it again.
Even the auditions are starting to get annoying. I loved them in the beginning because it was only a couple that were trying to be bad. Now, there are so many that are trying too hard to be bad just to get on TV.
