Remember the Army was going to kill them first.
The Channel Islands indeed - 8 islands I think, most of the minimally populated. Santa Cruz has a population of 2.
It would make sense for them to head there, but of course that would make for a very boring season.
You'd need some way to get fresh water as well - I doubt there is infrastructure for a public water system if the population is two. Maybe the two people built their own well, though?
Maybe the yacht has a system to desalinize seawater?

Something will happen to mess things up, even if they get to the islands.
He gets a pass for that? Where is our patriotism guys? Forget the soldiers , what about the civilians at the hospital ?
Umm...did you miss the part where the military was instructed to "humanely" dispose of the remaining civilians when they pull out? Operation Cobalt? The military is the enemy here...
The interesting thing about this zombie universe is it doesnt matter if they get to a boat for safetly or even an island, because they already ARE zombies, they just have to die first. So there is no safe place..
106 pages, must have turned out better than the preview made it look. Looked like it would be lame but must not have been. If it ends up on Netflix at some point I'll check it out.
Why couldn't the soldiers kill 2,000 or so zombies with their high powered weapons?? SMH
How is everyone going to get to the yacht? I didn't see any other type of boat around, unless I missed that.
